About Us

We are a group of 8 dedicated family doctors offering longitudinal, comprehensive care for families of the Comox Valley.

3 of our doctors also offer supportive pre-natal care as part of the Highland Maternity Group. Referrals are appreciated but not necessary.

Office Policies

Masks are required if you are sick, or have respiratory symptoms, they must be worn at all times while inside the clinic.

Telephone appointments: Although scheduled for a specific time, telephone appointments may occur later in the day if your doctor is delayed. If you cannot be available for up to one hour after the scheduled appointment time, we strongly recommend you book an in-person appointment instead. Please do not call the clinic to ask if your appointment was missed.

Contact Information: It is imperative that we be able to reach you, and many specialists’ offices are now requiring an email address. It is your responsibility to ensure your contact information is kept up to date with us. This can be done by phone or in office.

Missed Appointments: if you need to cancel an appointment, we appreciate 24 hours notice. For telephone appointments, the doctor will try calling twice, and if unable to reach you, you will need to call back to reschedule your appointment.

Missing routine appointments are charged at $30.00 and longer appointments such as procedures, forms, counselling are charged at $100.00.

This policy is necessary. When an appointment is missed, it prevents other patients from receiving more timely access to the medical care they need and causes further wait periods to care. We want to ensure you get the medical attention required, so please call us at 250-890-0919 to reschedule or cancel your appointments.

Prescription renewals always require an appointment. This has always been our policy. It is important for your doctor to monitor drug efficacy and side effects on an ongoing basis. Please book renewal appointments at least 10 days before you run out. We do not fit in renewal appointments last minute.

Locum Doctors. You may be booked with a locum doctor who is providing coverage for your regular doctor. This may occur without notice. Our doctors require time away from the office, and do their best to ensure ongoing care for their patients by organizing locum coverage.

Abuse towards are staff or doctors is not tolerated and may result in your termination as a patient.
